Updates for Saskatchewan – April 8, 2024

The Saskatchewan public COVID-19 Spring Campaign is now underway. See below for eligibility requirements.

Appointments may be booked online using London Drugs online booking system or by contacting your local London Drugs pharmacy directly.

**Walk-in requests may be accommodated subject to availability **

COVID-19 Vaccine Formulations (based on availability)

  • Moderna Spikevax XBB.1.5

  • Pfizer Comirnaty XBB.1.5

  • Novavax XBB.1.5 (call 1-833-727-5829 to book an appointment with SK Health)

Effective April 8 to June 30, 2024, the following individuals are eligible to receive an additional XBB.1.5 COVID-19 vaccine dose given six or more months (minimum of three months) from their last COVID-19 XBB.1.5 dose or COVID-19 infection (whichever interval is longer as applicable):

Adults 65 years of age and older.

Adults 18 to 64 years old residing in long-term care facilities, personal care homes, and congregate living settings (i.e., assisted living settings) that have residents 65+ years.

Unless moderately to severely immunocompromised, adults 18 to 64 years of age residing in group homes, dorms or correctional institutions are not eligible for an additional dose despite having residents 65 years and older living in the facility.

Saskatchewan residents 5 years of age or older who have never received an XBB.1.5 COVID-19 vaccine are also eligible to contact the pharmacy for vaccination.

To receive a COVID-19 vaccine at the pharmacy you must be:

  • A resident of SK with a valid SK Health Services Card.

  • 5 years of age and older

  • Visitors to SK may also be eligible to receive a free Covid vaccine. Check with the pharmacy for details.
