BC Public Fall COVID-19 Vaccinations will begin on October 15, 2024

COVID-19 vaccine appointment invitations from the BC Get Vaccinated System will start going out to registered BC residents on October 8, 2024 and will continue rolling out over the next several weeks. Watch your text/email/phone for your invitation to book an appointment. The first appointments will be offered to those groups of people who are most at risk of serious illness or complications from Covid-19 and healthcare workers.

Appointments may be booked online through the link in your invitation from the BC Get Vaccinated System or by calling 1-833-838-2323. 7 days per week. 7am-7pm except statutory holidays open 9am-5pm.

To receive a COVID-19 vaccine at the pharmacy you must be:

  • A resident of BC with a valid

    BC Services Card

  • 12 years of age and older

  • Visitors to BC: call BC Get Vaccinated at 1-833-838-2323 for eligibility and appointment information

The National Advisory Committee on Immunization (NACI) recommendation:

Beginning in the fall of 2024, previously vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals at increased risk of SARS-CoV-2 infection or severe COVID-19 disease should be vaccinated with a JN.1 or KP.2 COVID-19 vaccine as follows:

  • All adults 65 years of age and older

  • Those 6 months of age and older who are:

  • Residents of long-term care homes and other congregate living settings

  • Individuals with underlying medical conditions that place them at higher risk of severe COVID-19, including children with complex health needs

  • Individuals who are pregnant

  • Individuals in or from First Nations, Metis and Inuit communities

  • Members of racialized and other equity-deserving communities

  • People who provide essential community services

All individuals 6 months of age and over not listed above may also receive an updated JN.1 or KP.2 vaccine
